MEDIA BRIEF.
My name is Jack Malcolm, I now live in Gloustershire. I spent 12 years in the Black Watch, 12 years in the Gordon Highlanders, 2 years with the London Scottish and 2 years as Garrison Sgt Major at Warminster in Wiltshire, where I left the Army. That is the main reason I lived in Devon and now Gloustershire. On leaving the Army, I went into the Equine business, did my Certificate of Education, became an Equine Lecturer, at Wiltshire College Lackham. After 15 years at College as a lecturer, we retired to Devon. The English Riviera. I am the “Proud owner of the “SEFTON AWARD”. Awarded by the British Horse Society. Never been political! up to 5 or 6 years ago I had never voted. About 2 years ago I started to become aware of the “Scottish National Party”, and Nicola Sturgeon. I soon hated her and her “Cult”, with a passion! Some 18 months ago I started a face book page Saltire and Union. Because of face book banning my page for community reasons, I started a second page which has been accepted by face book as a political page, Saltire & Union and a website called: www.saltireandunion.com In November 2020 I posted the website of, “Abolish the Scottish Parliament party”, and was as a result, asked if I would like to stand as a candidate! I can’t vote in May’s election. However! I can stand as a candidate. How strange is that? On 25 of February 2021 I was interviewed as a candidate, for “Abolish the Scottish Parliament party”, and appointed to the Highland Region as a possible part of Scotland to canvass in. My opinion of the Scottish National Party and Nicola Sturgeon is that during the last 16 Years, they have done absolutely nothing for Scotland and the Scottish people. Their Failures are, Ferries/Education/Prestwick airport/Hospitals in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow/Children and Politics/Sex and Transgenderism. They are NOT! a Government! they are simply a Devolved Administration like Wales and Northern Ireland. Because Salmond when no one was paying attention, put a bill through Holyrood that they should be named as a Government, permitted the disaster we see now with Sturgeon and the SNP. Sturgeon is employing far too many people to run the Devolved Administration but not actually running the country. Devolution has failed, Holyrood should be dissolved, and the original Scottish office put in place. We need to return to a re-empowered Scottish office working closely in cooperation with the UK Government and local councils, to get funding, services and infrastructure, delivered directly to Scotland. It is now December 2023, and we have a Labour Goverment and a Prime Minister called Starmer, who is proving to be worse than Sturgeon and the snp have been for the U.K. SO THE FIGHT CONTINUES!
